SEA-Teacher Journey
You should know me first, before you delve deeper.

I am Tricia Khyla C. Alegre, a fourth-year Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English at the University of Northern Philippines. I see myself as an ordinary student, someone who is not part of any organization and not among the academic elite. At first, I thought this program was only meant for top-performing students, so I doubted whether I truly belonged. However, my classmates encouraged me to take the chance, and their support helped me believe in myself. Even when I had doubts, there were people who believed in my potential.
I am naturally friendly, which helped me easily connect with my Indonesian ”buddies”—Amel, Lia, Ca, Arifa, and Rofi—who are also exchange students from our university. Together with my friends from the Philippines, Janderic, Jerwin, and Rean, who stayed with me throughout this journey, they made the experience lighter, more meaningful, and truly memorable.
Outside academics, I am a kinesthetic learner with interests in dancing and modeling. When it comes to schoolwork, I prefer to handle tasks one at a time and follow an organized schedule. This helps me manage stress and ensures that I am able to complete my responsibilities well.
The people who made my SEA-Teacher journey lighter and unforgettable.
